Very grateful to be doing a job I love - bringing new life into the world, surgery, the complexity of illnesses and how they affect the lives of women and their families. The craft of teaching and inspiring young doctors and those in training. Usually stimulating, sometimes challenging, always rewarding. Life's not bad at all.
After growing up in Adelaide, medical school in London and specialist training in Oxford. Back to the southern hemisphere, a couple of years in New Zealand and now enjoying the easy lifestyle of sunny Queensland.
When not working, enjoying travel, the kids growing up, and taking photographs of everything along the way. I'm a member of the Australian Photographic Society and getting together a portfolio for APS honours. I'm inspired by viewing and creating portraits of people and always on the look out for someone new to photograph. If that might be you, drop me an email.
If we've met, add me as a Facebook friend & keep in touch. And thanks to Nila who took the photo of me.
