A referral from a General Practitioner is required if you wish to claim Medicare rebates. These will last 12 months. Any GP can make a referral, using the contact details above. Referrals from other specialist practitioners last 3 months. If you don’t have a Medicare card, you don’t need a referral to be seen.

New consultation, 35 minutes

Review consultation, 20 minutes
$125 | $39.25 Medicare rebate

Repeat consultation - known patient, new problem, 35 minutes
$220 | $78.05 Medicare rebate

Post-operative consultation, 15 minutes
No fee

Results + discussion - telehealth consult, 10 minutes
Bulk-billed

Payment is made at the time of consultation. EFTPOS/credit card payment is available and Medicare claims will be submitted on the day of consultation.

If you book for surgery, you will be provided with a full outline of Dr Tucker’s fees.

Dr Tucker is a ‘known gap’ provider, which means that there will never be a surgeon out-of-pocket expense greater than $500 for your operation.

Cancellation fees are 50% of the consultation fee for fewer than 2 business days’ notice of cancellation. Cancellation can take place by telephone or email to admin@dannytucker.net
